Inventive, free-spirited with unfiltered sparks of inspirations, the songs on Hoping This Is the End explore vibrantly diverse sonic palettes. “Blue skies on Mars” speaks of hope and the haze of love through an euphoric, feverish lens. “As I look in your eyes, I hope for a Hollywood ending.” Perhaps love does feel like a fever.
