Two years since the original My Own Magic first cast its spell, Erotika Dabra (they/them) returns with My Own Magic (Rerub) - a sensual, electrified reimagining of their defining track.
The new “Rerub” series marks a fresh chapter for Erotika Dabra revisiting past works through new sonic lenses. For My Own Magic (Rerub), they draw the listener into an intimate, rhythmic voyage: a guided exploration of the “sex magicks in the grasping, unfurling palms of my hands.”
“The original My Own Magic was a collaboration
with Lioness that bore three distinct masks - the
cello, the sultry vocal, and the psychedelic trip,” says Erotika Dabra. “In the rerub, I wanted to preserve
that interplay while surrendering to something new. It’s a tender, yet passionate rebirth.”
