SEER SEEKER On the Making Of ‘TO THE CORE’

What was the creative process like for this particular 'TO THE CORE?'

I spent 2 years researching beats online, 150 nights in my car training my voice, and thousands of dollars in licensing and recording. I don't regret a thing.

Which song(s) do you like the best and why?

“LIGHT IT UP” and “GONE TOO LONG,” both are powerful, anthemic rock/rap songs.

Were there any memorable or standout moments during the recording sessions for this album?

Hearing myself belt on the playback was surprisingly good. I was surprised by the progress of my voice.

Can you tell us about your musical background and what inspired you to become a vocalist?

I trained in piano for 7 years, then made beats on FL Studio, finally I started my own electronic project and SEER SEEKER during college. I wanted to become a vocalist to fulfill a dream and vision I always had of being a powerful rapper.

What are some of the challenges you've faced as a vocalist, and how have you overcome them?

I deal with bipolar disorder, like Kanye West and Selena Gomez. It has made me more creative but also unpredictable. My raps are aggressive just like the way my mind races sometime. I channel my condition into my music.
