Ten Tracks, No Filler: Dead Target Make Their Album Debut with Still While It Spins

From the fjords of Hardanger to the streets of Bergen, Norwegian punk rock ’n’ roll band Dead Target are gearing up to release their debut album, Still While It Spins, on October 23, 2026.
Across ten tracks and roughly 24 minutes, the album brings together big Scandirock guitars and the hooks and urgency of melodic and emotional punk. It will be available digitally and on a limited pink vinyl pressing through Norwegian record-lable "Punkebjartes Punkeplater" and distributor DIGER Distro.
Formed in 2017 and redefined in 2024, Dead Target released the PUNX EP before turning their attention to their first full-length record. Still While It Spins was recorded over four sessions between December 2025 and April 2026 at GUFF Studio in Øystese, with production by Bjørnar Sangolt, mixing by Anders Nordengen (The Good The Bad And The Zugly, Oslo Ess) and mastering by Jørgen Træen. The one of a kind album artwork was created by Tord Torpe.

The band have already shared “Workin’ Overtime” and “1998”, with “Presage” set for release on October 2. The full album moves from the opening rush of “Presage” through songs including “Here Comes Trouble”, “Democracy” and “Panic Attack”, closing with “The Young Forgotten”.
Dead Target are Severin Stokholm Flatøy Flotve on vocals and guitar, Jack “TheFuck” Feng on bass, Kjetil Gjøn on drums and Vegard “HanValen” Lindtveit on guitar. Drawing on the energy of bands such as Green Day, Turbonegro, Social Distortion, The Hellacopters and Gluecifer, they have made a direct, loud debut: ten tracks, no filler.
