THE RADIO ADDICTS Release New Single: “LET’S PARTY LIKE IT’S THE 90s”

Boltonian teenage indie punk pop band The Radio Addicts return with their explosive new single “Let’s Party Like It’s The 90s”, released worldwide on all major streaming platforms on Friday June 12th.

Recorded at The Kaiser Chief’s Studio, “The Nave” in Leeds and produced by Andy Hawkins (Maximo Park, The Pigeon Detectives, Flogging Molly & Florentenes), the track delivers 2 minutes 49 seconds of arms-aloft singalong indie pop punk packed with sharp hooks, huge choruses, and the full-throttle energy of youthful musicians in a hurry to show the world that they are here to take over.

Built around a guitar lick that immediately hooks attention before crashing into a massive punch-the-air chorus, “Let’s Party Like It’s The 90s” captures the chaos and exhilaration of a great night out, particularly like it used to be in the 90s when the craziness of Britpop was in full flow and there were no mobile phone amateur documentarians.  The verses chart the trials and tribulations of chasing the attention of that special someone and steering clear of the people who are “all full of it” at a chaotic house party.

The single has already received a strong early reaction, with its first two public broadcasts taking place at Bolton Wanderers F.C.’s stadium before the teams ran out to the pitch. It will also feature as This Feeling’s Song of the Day and has been selected for inclusion on their Spotify “Best New Bands” playlist.

The release continues a huge momentum building period for The Radio Addicts.  This Summer, they embark on a 16-date England tour in support of the single, culminating in their biggest headline show to date at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on July 26 (https://www.seetickets.com/event/radio-addicts/the-deaf-institute-the-lodge/3637132)

Let’s Party Like It’s The 90s” is the band’s third digital single release and follows the success of their debut vinyl EP, “MMXXV”, released in November 2025. The limited pressing of 200 copies sold out entirely through pre-orders & gig ticket bundles, 3 months before the scheduled release date!  One copy has been seen advertised for 6 x the original price on a record collector’s Facebook group!

With relentless live energy and a rapidly expanding audience, The Radio Addicts are quickly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting unsigned emerging indie bands.  With youth on their side and the world at their feet, “Let’s Party Like It’s The 90s” is THE radio friendly sing a along Summer anthem for 2026.
