His Winter Baby Is Here
Well, if you’re wondering where I’ve disappeared to for the last couple of weeks — the answer is… writing. I’ve mourned the winter I knew as I sit on a tropical island of eternal heat, haunted by the memory of snow and chain checkpoints.
The result is His Winter Baby, set on the Northern California–Oregon border.
Our FMC, Casey Jones, who has spent all her adult years surviving on her own in San Diego, naively thought she knew what it’d take to drive up there in her Honda Civic. She regretted it the moment she turned back, but unfortunately, going back wasn’t an option.
She was picked up by an older gentleman, a mountain man, who usually spent the tough winter season in his cabin. And of course, five months living in a cabin together… it’s not like anything would happen (haha).
There’s a lot more about Edgar Finnagin that our FMC didn’t know. She was going to find out the hard way. And perhaps there’s a lot to Casey our MMC didn’t expect.
In a twisted way, Casey and Edgar echo the gothic horror and romance between Mia Goth’s Elizabeth and Jacob Elordi’s monster in the new Frankenstein movie. I wrote this story after watching it, so aesthetically, it taps into the same gothic space — but Edgar is a very different kind of monster, one who couldn’t care less about morality and acceptance, but rather his own sadistic ritual.
His Winter Baby is already here. You can get it from the shop now:
It’ll be on Amazon too (in about 24 hours), but it won’t be on KU.
Meanwhile… I also have two more books coming out in the next two weeks. Sneak peeks for both are included at the end of Winter Baby ;)
Pretty Girl (Nov. 25): A dark web captive romance that takes place in the 12-hour session of an underground broadcast, where viewers get to place their bids.
Pre-order is also available through Amazon.
Santa’s To Do List (Dec. 2): a naughty forbidden smut read about a stepfather and his stepdaughter who has had her eyes set on him for a long time… (all characters are of legal ages)
Pre-order is also available through Amazon.
