Gabagool On the Making Of ‘Gabagool Demo’

Can you talk about any specific themes or motifs that run throughout 'Gabagool Demo?'

Thrash Metal, Punk, Doom…blend that shit…smoke it, and blow the smoke into a warped VHS playing at a haunted mansion that smells like fresh basil.

Themes are Demons, New Jersey shit, whiz wit out in a seeded, and a whole lotta drop C… and everything Peavey.

What impact do you hope 'Gabagool Demo' will have on your audience?

A timeless package of sound, that helps set the direction for years to come. pull folks in with the raw brutal sound, and the blend of shit to mosh to.

We want to deliver meat and potato riffs with satanic black magic as seasoning… sick shit!

Can you talk about any standout tracks on the EP and what makes them special to you?

“Big Nothing,” “Quisimodo,” and “What Ever Happened There” are a great 3 piece meal that embody the range and scope of the movie here.

All taking various interpretations of the theme, we blend a horror movie with a wink at death, that you can skate or run to. We like to keep it simple and let the dad riffs and loud amps do the work.

Can you tell us more about you as an artist?

Some dudes from the Mid Atlantic with a love for drop C and fresh produce, nuff said.

Can you walk us through your creative process when writing and composing music?

Grab the pick of destiny after losing 4 commander games in a row to some bullshit mono blue deck, and then with all the Paulie dialogue in your head, attack the strings until you sweat.

The riffs come out after getting grenade bullied in nuketown 24/7 or by some rando named oatman in GTA online. These are riffs of rage.
