Tony & The Kiki Releases “get OUT or get On”

Following the vibrant energy of Keep Shinin’ On, glam-rock outfit Tony & The Kiki are turning up the heat with their unapologetically bold new single ‘get OUT or get ON’. Equal parts seductive, rebellious, and electric, the track is a glitter-soaked call to action for anyone who's ever grown tired of mixed signals and slow burns.

‘get OUT or get ON’ has empowered emotions. It’s what you play when you’re up to no good, stirring up mayhem, or heading to your sneaky link with a wink and a strut. With vintage rock roots, slinky psychedelic surf riffs, 80s-inspired synths and toms, the track pulses with a raw, magnetic energy that transports listeners to a world of shadows and sex.

“The verse is all the hoops we jump through and games we play when hooking up or courting someone,” says frontperson Tony. “Patience is something that’s hard for me... this song speaks to that, hahaha. Either we’re doing this or we’re not—and I need to know now.”

Keys player Rodney adds, “I think this is the rebellious side of our songwriting. Like, when that half-time surf-vibe kicks in, I want to headbang and scream in the best way. The dichotomy is that it also makes me want to be sensual and sexy, especially when we perform it live. You decide ;)”

Since emerging from a three-year glam-rock slumber, Tony & The Kiki have been on a meteoric rise. They’ve captured the attention of icons like Foreigner, Cyndi Lauper, Celine Dion and Lady Gaga, while lighting up the stages of World Pride DC, Pittsburgh Pride, Brooklyn Pride and soon... NYC Pride. They sold out their latest single launch for 'Keep Shinin' On' at The Sultan Room, Bushwick, NYC - proof that demand is growing, both locally and internationally! Tony’s standout appearance as a guest vocalist with Brian Newman — famed musical director for Lady Gaga — and his all-star jazz ensemble during their AFTER DARK show at The Box, NYC, further solidifies the group’s rising acclaim for electrifying and theatrical performances.
