5 Q&A With aktenzeichen_T

Can you talk about any specific themes or motifs that run throughout 'Wenn Der Frieden Tanzt.?'

I tried to combine hypnotic sounds with funk elements and psycho acoustics.

Can you share any interesting or unique musical elements or production techniques used in 'Wenn Der Frieden Tanzt.?'

A "Wah-Wah" Delay on the funky guitar, combined with Hass Effect and some deep frequencies combined generate the listeners energy to dance.

Can you talk about any standout tracks on the EP and what makes them special to you?

For me personally “Midnight Between Lagrange Points,” because I tried to combine Disco and Techno using my old dusty Saxophone and my good smokers voice ;D

Also I like “Trinity” very much. It's a very intimate Bluesy Techno inspired by the famous song "hit the road jack" and is my symbolic protest in music against weaponry and war.

Can you introduce yourself and share a bit about your journey into music production? How did you become a producer?

I'm aktenzeichen_T, or Elias. 25 years old from Leipzig in A jobtraining in Halle at the Theater. I started the piano at age 6, when I moved to Leipzig with my parents I fast discovered that Music is my thing.
Later I discovered Techno music and one thing went to another. The scene, my own will to create and of course my friends did some motivational work on me to get me producing. I create everything on my own. From the Track to every Video and Coverart. Because I love to create and make something that entertains people.

How do you balance incorporating new trends while maintaining a unique and timeless production style?

I don't really know. I guess music theory is a good base to start. The rest comes with experience and a good master.

Also when you try to use minimalistic themes you can blend them better :)
