Nickon Faith “Visions”
Visions, the wonderfully expressive, eclectic sonic odyssey is yet another otherworldy addition to Nickon Faith’s catalogue. Known for his innovative approach to music producer, Visions showscases his ability to journey through experimental, infectious progressive, energetic sonic landscapes with high aesthetic and deep emotions.
The EP consists 3 original tracks from Faith and an additional amplifier remix by Jon Selbo. The title track “Visions” makes a strong opening with infectious percussion, a storm of energies, and ethereal melodies. “In Broom” elevates things to the next level with rave complexity meeting a primitive pulsating bassline, pushing it forward.
Into “Don’t Make Me Wait,” the brilliant, hypnotic mixture of breakbeat and dreamy vocals sees an energetic expansion, only exceeding your expectations. John Selbo’s exhilarating remix brings out a distinctive shade of colour to the already brilliant track. With his unique touch of transcendence, Selbo lifts the roof with rave energy.

His words are few, but the world is big in DJ Afif Zubiedi’s music. “Dance With Me” is an eclectic and euphoric house/EDM track with a nostalgic hint and neon-infused vibe. Elements from future rave and melodic techno comes together for a rare blend. It’s emotive and deep, at the same time immersive and atmospheric. A simple track seems to trigger a vast range of responses. At times, you find yourself moving with its infectious beats. At times, you feel a more personal connection that evokes certain memory. And at times, you simply want to lose yourself in its vibrant sonic world.
DJ Zubiedi’s journey with music much reflects the way his music makes the listeners feel. His love and devotion to music began at a young age, and he has been an avid listener as well as an active music maker. The prolific musician has many tracks and music sessions under his belt. A journey through his catalogue certainly feels like an adventure in an universe: eye-opening, imaginative, and filled with awe.

Punk Head: I love how immersive " Dance With Me" is! Can you tell us a little about your musical journey?
Afif Zubiedi: I’ve been in love with music since I was a little kid, from listener to djing to creating nonstop music sessions to producing.
PH: What are you most proud about this track?
Zubiedi: There are elements in this track from future rave and melodic techno which I didn’t hear before.
PH: What is your creative vision as an artist?
Zubiedi: Simply…to create something that makes ppl hear over n over again.

Hailing from Munich, Germany, Pablo Iranzo is known for blending rock/pop influences with gothic elements, venturing into other genres and styles. As one of the leading singles to the artist’s second full-length album, slotted for a later release this year, ‘Burned Alive” continues the artistic journey of creating sensational, impressionistic tracks with a flavorful blend of darkwave and industrial metal elements while adapting a liquidized, dreamful contemporary production.
The original track is a mixture of nostalgia and evocative soundscapes. Dark and melancholy, swirling in a slower tempo with enchantment. It focused on an overall impression and an introspective, almost dangerous sweet feeling, revolving around the theme of breakup and heartbreak.
The Aura Shred remix brings out a darker, more luscious side of the song with a beaming visualization in its EDM-centered sonics. Isolating the vocals and emphasizing the contracts, the french composer/producer/remixer has a touch of wild imagination pushing the aesthetic further.
Amplifying the raw, stretching details in the artist’s vocal performance while imagining a vast, 3-D surrounding sonic experience. The remix immediately put you in a different space. From one idea to another, witnessing the alchemy in its making, “Burned Alive” has been through an adventure and exploration stretching further to its potential.
