What was the initial spark or idea that led to the creation of "Second Skin?"
I've always written about what's going on in my life or the lives of those close to me. Had a particularly difficult year and really needed to find a way out of it. Second Skin is where I don't have to think about anything, become someone else, somewhere else.
Have you noticed any particular interpretations or connections that listeners have made with "Second Skin?"
I think most connect to the melody and don't really give a lot of weight to the lyrics.
What was your favorite moment in making the music video?
My favourite thing to do with videos is actually editing.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got started in music?
That's a boring story really. I've just always written music from a child. No reason, no lightning bolt. It's just always been there.
Do you aim to convey any specific themes or messages through your music?
My lyrics are raw and convey a truth of that time. Whatever someone wants to take from it is cool with me.
